You can access your Covid-19 vaccination status (NHS COVID Pass) through the free NHS App on a smartphone or tablet. Proof of your Covid-19 vaccination status will be shown within the NHS app. For more information please visit the website www.gov.uk/guidance/demonstrating-your-covid-19-status
The NHS COVID Pass is available if you
- Have had a full course of the COVID-19 vaccine (a full course is 2 doses of the Moderna, AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccine, or 1 dose of the Janssen single-dose vaccine)
- Were vaccinated in England
- Are aged 16 or over
You can access your NHS COVID Pass 2 weeks after having a full course of the vaccine
If you do not have access to a smartphone and require your vaccination status you can either access this via the website www.covid-status.service.nhsx.nhs.uk or call the NHS helpline on 119 and ask for a letter to be posted to you. This must be at least 5 days after you’ve completed your course of the vaccine and the letter usually take about 5 working days to be processed and sent out via post.
Please do not contact the practice about your Covid-19 vaccination status. We cannot provide letters or certificates to show your Covid-19 vaccination status, this can only be done via the NHS app or by contacting119.
